Your access to and use of the Pinnacle Car Service (PCS) Website and/or placing a reservation (regardless by who and/or how reservation is reserved), is subject to the following “TERMS AND CONDITIONS”. By accessing and browsing the PCS Website, you accept without limitation or qualification, the Terms and Conditions and acknowledge that any other agreements between you and PCS are superseded and of no force or effect.
Any cancellations or changes for the New Jersey & New York area must be received at least TWO (2) hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time of the reservation. Reservations cancelled under the TWO (2) hour period will be charged the full price of the ride which includes the base fare, driver gratuity, estimated tolls, and all applicable fees. Hourly reservations cancelled under the TWO (2) hour period will be charged the THREE (3) hour minimum.
Traveler is to contact PCS if their arriving flight is cancelled or changed. If the flight is cancelled, PCS attempts to contact the traveler. However, it is still the traveler’s responsibility to contact PCS with the new flight information. Until such time, the reservation is placed on hold until the traveler makes contact with PCS.
*For reservations out of the New Jersey / New York Metropolitan area require FOUR (4) hours advance notice.
PCS is not responsible for cancelled departing flights. If PCS is scheduled to drop off a traveler at the airport and their flight is cancelled, the full standard fare will be charged as per the cancellation/changes policy listed above.
A no-show fee equal to the full price of the ride including the base fare with driver gratuity, tolls, parking, and fees plus applicable waiting time is charged when the traveler fails to appear or leaves the designated pick-up location. If you experience difficulty locating your chauffeur, please call 1.833.474.6625 for assistance. We advise you not to leave the pick-up location without contacting PCS.
The rate presented to you prior to your trip is an initial estimate of the cost of service as reserved. Estimate includes gratuity, STC (surface transportation charge), and any applicable tolls. Actual tolls incurred. parking, wait time, extra stops, or additional services may change your rate.
PCS accepts American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa as a method of payment unless other billing arrangements are made in advance. Chauffeurs do not carry credit card readers in their vehicle. PCS requires credit card information in order to guarantee your reservation. PCS authorizes the credit card information provided at time of booking to validate the information for security reasons and to confirm sufficient funds to cover cost of services as reserved. Please let your agent know during booking if a debit card is being used as it will appear instantly as a purchase as opposed to an authorization.
Child Safety Seats:
New Jersey law requires children less than 8 years of age and under 57 inches tall to be in a Child Safety/Booster Seat. Children ages 8-18 must be properly secured in a seat belt. Children ages 12 and under must ride in the back of the vehicle. PCS can hold the child safety seat/booster seat until traveler’s return upon request. If a child requires a child/safety seat and the parent does not wish to use their own, then they may rent either a child seat or a booster seat for a $10 fee per seat. All child safety seats owned by PCS are stored in a climate controlled environment, cleaned after every use, and checked periodically for recalls.
Cell Phone Usage:
Traveler is allowed to use the chauffeur’s cell phone for a fee of $2 per minute, which is added to the final bill.
Reservations between the hours of 12 Midnight and 5:59 AM, there is an additional $10 charge which represents an additional chauffeur tip.
*For reservations out of the New Jersey / New York Metropolitan area is a $15 fee.
Reservations on the following holidays are subject to a $20 holiday surcharge representing an additional chauffeur trip. ( • New Year’s Eve • New Year’s Day • Easter • Memorial Day • Independence Day • Labor Day • Thanksgiving Day • Christmas Eve • Christmas Day )
*For reservations out of the New Jersey / New York Metropolitan area is a $25 fee.
Waiting Time Policy:
Waiting time is a charge added to the standard fare if the traveler is late getting into the vehicle. The traveler has a grace period depending on where they are scheduled to be picked up. Waiting time is charged in fifteen-minute increments at the vehicle’s hourly rate.
• Non-Airport Reservations: The traveler has a 15-minute grace period starting from the scheduled pick-up time until PCS has the traveler in the vehicle.
• Airport Reservations: PCS monitors all commercial airline arrivals. The traveler has a grace period of ONE (1) hour from the final arrival time until PCS has the traveler is in the vehicle.
• Pier Reservations: PCS does NOT monitor ship arrivals. The traveler has a grace period of ONE (1) hour from the scheduled pick-up time until PCS has the traveler in the vehicle.
Hourly Services (Wait & Return):
A Wait & Return is charge by the hour from the scheduled pick-up time to the time the vehicle drops off at the final destination. After THREE (3) hour minimum, additional time is charged in ONE (1) hour increments. Locations exceeding 40 minutes from PCS facility may incur travel time.
*For reservations out of the New Jersey / New York Metropolitan area TRAVEL TIME may apply based on distance from the chosen affiliate’s facility and policy.
Are additional and may be charged by the amount of time at the stop in conjunction with how far off route this stop takes the chauffeur. The charge is calculated based upon the hourly rate of the vehicl
PCS shall not be liable for circumstances beyond its control such as weather, road conditions and breakdowns.
Lost or Misplace Items:
PCS assumes no responsibility for lost or damage baggage, personal belongings or items left in the vehicle.
The traveler accepts full responsibility for any damages based on his or her act and authorizes PCS to charge for any expenses regardless of any prior understanding or agreement.
PCS sends email/fax confirmation receipt(s) for each new reservation to the traveler and/or caller the same day as the booking. Always review your reservation confirmation for accuracy. Reservation pick-up time is shown in “Military Time”. At the bottom of the each reservation includes a summary of the “Terms & Conditions” and “Pick-Up Instructions” which reflect the type of trip. PCS calls the day prior to the trip to confirm reservation details. If for any reason you do not receive a call from PCS by 8 PM please contact the PCS office to confirm.
